We really need to talk about this, because it’s been making my blood boil lately.
Those giants with their massive ad spend and bland corporate-y websites with stock images of suited ladies with laptops smiling? You know the ones, don’t you?
They're barely paying their VAs minimum wage and honestly, it's a BIG ICK in my book. 🤮
Here's what you need to know if you actually hire one of these big agencies:
They don’t care about matching you properly. I mean, matching - what matching process?
You are paired with the next available VA who has very little relevant experience and they are given even less guidance on how to support you, they haven’t even been told how to structure their work with you.
I’m pretty sure you’d prefer not to spend half your time chasing them to see if your work is actually getting done, right?
The whole thing becomes this frustrating dance of
